SBS Asd organizes on 10/03/2024 an individual trail race in urban and natural environment called “SUT – Sanremo Ultra Trail” over distances of 10km, 32km, 60km, event of national interest CSEN and a non-competitive race of 5km.

REGISTRATIONS:

You can subscribe online to the site www.sanremobikeschool.eu:

• Distance 5km: cost €10 you can still subscribe on site on Sunday 10/03/2024 from 8:00am to 9:30am
• Distance 10km: cost €15 you can still subscribe on site on Sunday 10/03/2024 from 8:00am to 9:30am
• Distance 32km: 50€ until 03/03/2024 (registration deadline) and in any case until reaching the maximum allowed number of 150 participants
• Distance 60km: cost €70 until 03/03/2024 (registration deadline) and in any case until reaching the maximum allowed number of 150 participants

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

• It is necessary to produce medical certification for competitive athletic activities. It won’t be possible to participate if not in possession of the appropriate certification . Foreign athletes must present the medical certificate required by their country. • Minimum age allowed: 18 at the time of the race

10km – competitive race

• It is necessary to produce medical certification for competitive athletic activities. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

In case of cancellation of the event due to major events or for metereological reasons or for any other reasons not depending from the organization no refund will be due to participants.

The organization also reserves the right to suspend or cancel the race in case the weather conditions endanger the safety of the participants and volunteers.

No refund in case of non-attendance of the member for impediments or personal reasons.

RECEPTION OF ATHLETES

The delivery of the race number and chip will take place at the Palazzo Roverizio , Via Palazzo, 12, Sanremo (IM) with the following methods:

5km and 10km – Saturday 09/03/2024 from 10:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 10/03/2024 from 8:00 to 9.30

32km – Saturday 09/03/2024 from 10:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 10/03/2024 from 6:00 to 7.30

60km – Saturday 09/03/2024 from 10:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 10/03/2024 from 5:00 to 6.30

AREA AND CONDITIONS OF DEPARTURE

the departures of the races will take place in piazza borea d’olmo in sanremo at the following times:

60km – 6.30am

32km – 8.00am

10km and 5km – 10.00 am

EQUIPMENT AND CLOTHING (32 AND 60 KM)

The use of sticks is optional, but they cannot be abandoned along the way or handed over to third parties, under penalty of disqualification.

The equipment can be checked at the time of departure from the organization: if it does not meet the minimum mandatory equipment, the participant will be excluded from the race and must return the race bib.

• 32 km

Mandatory equipment: the participant must carry with him and keep for the duration of the ride, backpack, minimum food and water reserve of at least 1 liter, thermal towel, whistle, mobile phone with battery charged, race bib with the indication of emergency numbers.

Given the characteristics of the route and the way the race takes place, it is not necessary to make any kind of compulsory clothing, taking into account, however, that it will take place in a cold period of the year in which the weather conditions may be unstable with probable snowfall and that significant altitudes will be reached, It is advisable to equip yourself with appropriate clothing windproof and anti-cold.

• 60 km

Mandatory equipment: the participant must carry with him and keep for the duration of the ride, backpack, minimum food and water reserve of at least 1 liter, thermal towel, whistle, mobile phone with battery charged, race bib with indication of emergency numbers, front light, thermal mesh, windproof waterproof jacket, drinking glass to drink from the fountains along the path.

REFRESHMENTS AND TIME GATES (32 AND 60 KM)

With the voluntary participation in the event, the runner declares himself autonomous in terms of water, food and energy integration and able to face any physical problems due to fatigue or caused by traumatic or accidental events or weather.

Waste will be collected by placing an appropriate number of containers in the stretch of the path immediately following each refreshment point.

No scheduled time gates.

Maximum time allowed 6 hours: beyond the maximum time, the organization does not guarantee the garrison and the safety of the route.

• Km 11 “Giro del Marzocco”

• Km 24 “San Romolo”

• 60 km

Scheduled time gates:

• at the restaurant of the Principality of Seborga Km 25 at 11.00 (average 5.6 km/h)

• at the restaurant of Perinaldo km 38 at 13.15 (average 5.5 km/h)

Maximum time allowed 13 hours: beyond the maximum time, the organization does not guarantee the garrison and the safety of the route.

• Km 11 “Giro del Marzocco”, Sanremo

• Km 25 Principality of Seborga

• Km 38 Perinaldo

• Km 45 water point Berzi, Bajardo (fountain in the village)

• Km 54 San Romolo, Sanremo

• Km 58 water point “Cardellina”, Sanremo (fountain under road on the right going down)

ATHLETES RECOVERY (32 AND 60 KM)

The organization reserves the right to make available to athletes who for injuries or ailments are forced to interrupt the competition, adequate means for returning to the arrival area, after telephone notice to the numbers of the organization printed on the bibs.

AREA OF ARRIVAL

The arrival area is scheduled in PIAZZA BOREA D’OLMO in Sanremo about 200 m from the departure area

AWARDS

For competitive races of 10, 32 and 60km will be awarded the first three classified men and the first three classified women with awards in nature. There will be no cash prizes .

No awards given for the non-competitive 10km race and the non-competitive 5km walk.

BEHAVIOUR, PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND LIABILITY

The voluntary registration and subsequent participation in the event indicate for the participant or for the parent/guardian in case the participant is a minor:

• the full understanding and acceptance of this Regulation and any amendments thereto

• the authorization to the treatment of the personal data ex art. 13 of the D. Lgs. n. 196/03 and ex art. 13 GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679)

• permission to acquire the right to use the images/videos on which the participant may appear even if he is a minor

• the awareness that participation in the race may involve risks for the personal safety of the participant depending on the particularity of this sport and the places where it takes place, of which knowledge has been taken;

• a commitment to engage in, or to engage in, the conduct of the child in accordance with the principles of loyalty and sporting correctness during the running and not to employ or not to have the child assume, in no case, conduct contrary to the law and the rules of the regulation that may endanger the safety of the participants and third parties;

•the assumption of any liability that may arise from the exercise of the sport in question and relieving the organizers of any civil and criminal liability, including objective liability, as a result of injuries caused to the participant, or to third parties and illness occurring during the entire duration of the event, or as a result of the use of the infrastructure, as well as any liability related to theft and/or damage to any personal objects of the participant and for any material and non-material damages and/or expenses (including legal fees) that may occour as a result of participation in the sporting event, also as a result of the behaviour of the participant.
